Why travel far for a family vacation when you can Staycation right in your own backyard? Mark your calendars for the second annual Como Neighborhood Staycation, set for Friday, July 15- Sunday, July 17.
The District 10 Como Community Council, Northwest Como Rec Center, Chelsea Heights PTO, the Coffee Grounds and the Como Park/Falcon Heights Living at Home Block Nurse Program are working together to bring you a fun-filled family weekend. Family activities galore!

6-10pm Summer Music Festival at Coffee Grounds
Featuring: Hula Peppers & Spruce Top Review
6-7pm Talent Show at Coffee Grounds (Participants Needed!)
6:30-8:30pm Family Activities, Jump Castle, Climbing Tour, & Concessions
at NW Como Rec Center
9:00pm Outdoor movie featuring “Yogi Bear” at NW Como Rec Center
SATURDAY, JULY 16
8:00am-2pm Flea Market in the fields of NW Como Rec Center

9:30-11:30am Live Music at Black Bear Crossings

1pm Como Park Bike Ride & History Tour (Click here for more info)
Free Bike Inspections, Helmet Checks, Prizes, & Giveaways
Start at Black Bear Crossings on the Lake & end at Coffee Grounds
4pm-9pm Summer Music Festival at Coffee Grounds
Featuring: B.L.T., Flamenco, & Frogtown Midway Arborator
