Metro Transit will be at our Community Council Meeting on Tuesday, May 15 at 7:00 p.m. at the Historic Streetcar Station to present on the Central Corridor Transit Study and to gather input from the community.
There will be a community meeting regarding the 2012 Hmong Sports Festival on Wednesday, May 9 at 6:00 p.m. at the Historic Streetcar Station (1224 Lexington Parkway North).
District 10 resident, Val Cunningham, received a Sustainable Saint Paul Award on April 25, for honoring community groups and residents who replant, restore and reclaim the urban environment into opportunities for the social and physical renewal.
The Como Woodland Outdoor Classroom (CWOC) Project will be recognized with a Saint Paul Heritage Preservation award on Tuesday, May 15. The CWOC project was nominated by the District 10 Environment Committee for their efforts in restoration,
The District 10 board is happy to announce that they welcomed a new sub-district 3 board member, Kate Wilinski at the last Tuesday, April 17 Community Council Meeting. We are excited to have Kate join us and look forward to working with her!

District 10 is one of Saint Paul's 17 citizen participation districts and encompasses the Como Park neighborhood and areas generally bounded by Snelling to the west, Larpenteur to the north, Dale to the east and the Energy Park area to the south. The District 10 - Como Community Council is a non-profit organization governed by a Board of Directors elected by members of the community. The Council's mission, described in its by-laws, is to provide information, education and outreach to the community.
