Starting this Sunday night, June 26, both entrance ramps from Dale St. to Interstate 94 shut down -- and stay that way until November. It's only one of the nearby highway projects starting this weekend.
Developers are still trying to line up financing to convert the old Sholom Home into an assisted living and memory care facility, and have hired a new security company to try to curb what neighbors say is an increasing amount of criminal activity in and near the vacant facility.

Community members elected two new members to the District 10 board on May 17, and the board appointed three community members as D10 representatives on two committees dealing with Como Park issues.
