Sunday, June 2, 2019 8:55 AM

Providing $1.5 million for upgrades to McMurray Field is among initial recommendations for Saint Paul’s Capital Improvement Budget in 2020. The project would install new artificial turf for athletic fields. The recommendation is part of a $12.5 million CIB for the 2020-21 funding cycle.

A public hearing on the initial recommendations is Monday June 17 at 4 p.m. in Room 40 of City Hall, 15 W. Kellogg Blvd. After the hearing, the Capital Improvement Budget Committee will finalize recommendations and send them to Mayor Melvin Carter and the City Council, who make final decisions. Find out more about the CIB process. If you can't attend the hearing, submit comments via email before the end of the day June 17.

You can download a PDF of the initial recommendations from the right column.
