Community Assessment Report

District 10 intern, Theo Woehrle, shared a community assessment report on the district plan process at the Tuesday, December 18, 2012 Community Council Meeting. The findings of the assessment show that the majority of identified issues within the Como community fit into one of three main themes:

  1. The District has changing transportation needs and an increased demand for more options.
  2. Como Regional Park is seen as an asset to the community, but attractions, events and development on the Como Park campus do have a disruptive impact on the surrounding community.  
  3. Local business development is desired, but the preservation of District 10's residential identity is seen as a priority.
