III. Recap Review of October Board Meeting/Election Vote
Committee members shared impressions and suggestions for improvement.
IV. Recap Review of Pancake Breakfast
Overall, the breakfast attendance was about 20% lower than last year but financially not much different. A few changes included in-house food, and since it was the second year, less work up front. Not all board members understood the expectation related to selling tickets. There was some initial confusion over the roll of Job Corps students; Marcy will speak with Kate about it. Marcy has offered to organize next year’s event. She would like a template to plan the event – a checklist of sorts. Earlier sales of tickets is recommended. Also the Committee discussed need for a contract or written agreement with Job Corps. Committee members suggested more targeted promotion in the immediate geographic area. Thank you’s will be sent out by staff.
V. Administrative Status
Discussion of the Poet-tree initiative and financial net/loss for District 10.
Discussion of the Give-MN website and how to set it up to maximize private donations Nov. 16. Also of the District 10 Pay Pal account.

City grants status: District 10 is now caught up with reimbursement requests.
VI. COPP Grant
The COPP preliminary application is due soon.
VII. Honor Roll
Honor roll nominations will be considered by the board in November. One idea was to mention nominees as well as honorees in the District 10 newsletter.
