The Council is governed by a 15-member volunteer board of directors and one Community Organizer staff member. The Council’s purpose is to provide a voice for the neighborhood in shaping decisions made by the City and local government. Monthly Meetings Board meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of every month, and are open to the public. Upcoming meeting dates, times and locations are posted on the District 10 meeting calendar. A community discussion is offered at the beginning of every meeting, to allow community members to ask questions or address issues and concerns. If you have a specific issue you would like addressed, we encourage you to contact us at the District 10 office in advance.
Get Involved Serving on the District 10 board is a great way to be a voice in your neighborhood and to play a part in fostering a friendly, active and safe community. All residents and business owners in the District 10 neighborhood are eligible to serve; click here to view a map of District 10 and sub-district boundaries.
