Linda Hinderscheit, Secretary
I have been involved with the Land Use committee for the past couple of years. Initially I was a co-chair of the Lexington-Larpenteur Node Study ad hoc Committee, which reported to the Land Use Committee. The committee completed a report with recommendations for the re-development of the commercial property on the St. Paul side of the Lexington-Larpenteur intersection. I became a member of the Land Use Committee after the work of the ad hoc committee was complete. I have kept minutes for both the ad hoc committee and the Land Use committee and believe I would do a good job doing so for the D10 board meetings. I maintain an active interest in the potential re-development of the Lexington-Larpenteur intersection. I want to make sure that commercial interests and residential interests co-exist harmoniously. I intend to remain on the Land Use committee in addition to my responsibilities as Secretary.
I have been involved with other boards. I was the Vice President of Communication and President of the Minnesota Speech-Language-Hearing Association, a professional organization of speech-language pathologists and audiologists. I was also Secretary on the Board of Camp Choson, a culture camp for children adopted from Korea.
